FTEX provides light electric vehicle brands with a full, plug-and-play electronics and software suite, including an IOT capable motor controller, mobile app, and analytics. With FTEX, traditional e-bike, e-kickscooter and other light electric vehicle brands can quickly leapfrog their competitors and offer smart vehicles without increasing R&D time and costs.
As a technologist and full stack web developer, Ramee has designed advanced technology prototypes, including several high-performance drones, one of which is patent pending. As co-founder and CEO of FTEX, Ramee envisions the urban mobility revolution going through electric and active transportation in the city by making electric bikes, scooters, and last-mile delivery vehicles more attractive with FTEX drives.
Ramee’s previous work includes software development, technology advisory roles within MNCs, and public policy advising with municipal governments.
Ramee earned his graduate degree in Political Science with honours from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
Silvana is an international marketing professional with broad experience supporting dozens of companies developing new businesses throughout Canada. As digital marketer and lead generation expert, Silvana has contributed to the success of organizations in economic development, education, and banking. She specializes in comprehensive digital programs that support the FTEX team’s sales efforts.
Silvana co-founded FTEX, developing its operations and validating market fit, and currently serves as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. She earned her International Business and Finance B. Comm. from Concordia University in Montreal.
Andrei Stroia is a finance professional and an entrepreneur, having previously co-founded a non-profit organization focused on student mental health in 2018, along with a medical technology startup with the goal of developing minimally invasive methods to treat cancer in 2019. His previous ventures participated and won in multiple competitions such as the McGill Dobson Cup 2018-2019, McGill Surgical Innovation 2019, Concordia Dobson Cup 2019, and Centech Accelerator 2019 Cohort. Andrei completed a BComm in Finance and Business Technology Management at Concordia University. Andrei is in charge of all the finance and accounting functions.
Andres is a business strategy and management consultant with extensive experience in business development for boutique consulting firms in developing countries. He holds a Masters in Economic Development from the London School of Economics, University of London, Previous positions held include Economic Policy Advisory positions with heads of state across 3 continents.
François is a seasoned software engineer that brings close to 10 years of software experience to FTEX, having delivered large, complex solutions to millions of customers worldwide. Born and raised in Montréal, François has attended Polytechnique Montreal in Computer Engineering. He has worked at Microsoft’s headquarters in Seattle for the better part of a decade. François has delivered the next generation of Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams solutions within the media server team, helping Teams grow from a whiteboard project to one of the most widely known communications software products in the world. François leads the product development at FTEX as Chief Product Officer.
